Photographer and journalist Ghaith Abdul-Ahad has gone missing in Libya, reports the Guardian newspaper for which he works.
The paper is tonight reporting that the award-winning photojournalist was detained by Libyan officials near to the coastal town of Sabratha on Monday.
Born in Iraq, Abdul-Ahad writes for the Guardian and works as a photographer for Getty Images.
A Brazilian journalist is also being held.
