Consumers have once again been warned to be on the look out for fake SanDisk memory cards as the firm cracks down on counterfeits.
Online auction website eBay issues advice to customers, saying the problem affects a ?very high percentage? of SanDisk cards: ?Beware of sellers that use original SanDisk web download pictures to sell counterfeit SanDisk, as they do not represent the actual item that you will receive.?
A UK spokeswoman for SanDisk told Amateur Photographer yesterday: ?SanDisk actively monitors online sites for sellers that might be selling any counterfeit versions of its products.?
She said SanDisk provides the following guidance for consumers: ?If the price looks too good to be true then it?s probably fraudulent.?
