A freelance news photographer who was handed a High Court injunction preventing him from photographing Npower’s controversial activities at Radley Lakes in Oxfordshire has had the restrictions removed, claims his union.
The move comes three months after photographer Adrian Arbib was served with an injunction which effectively prevented him from photographing staff at the site.
Radley Lakes is the location of environmental protests over Npower?s policy of dumping some of its waste ash from nearby Didcot power station into the lakes.
The injunction has been changed so that it now covers the protesters themselves, according to the National Union of Journalists which says it fought against the injunction with the Oxford Times and civil rights group Liberty.
