Photo-London will focus solely on ?contemporary photography since 1970?, according to organisers of the event which takes place at Old Billingsgate from 31 May-3 June.

The event will feature 60 exhibitors made up of international galleries and publishers, say organisers who have this year joined forces with owners of Paris Photo to host Photo-London.

?It aims to show the diversity of subjects, concepts, styles and techniques explored by photo-based artists from documentary work to conceptual art photography, as well as images combined with media such as audio, video and installation,? according to Photo-London promoters.

Organisers says that galleries taking part in Photo-London will be chosen by a selection committee made up of international art dealers.

Invited collectors and art professionals will be given VIP access to the latest on the photography scene in London.

While Photo-London will concentrate exclusively on contemporary photography since 1970, Paris Photo – which is held in the autumn – will offer an ?overview of fine art photography from its early days?.

Photo?London takes place from 31 May-3 June. Doors open from 11am-8pm (closes at 7pm on the last day). Entry costs £15.

Old Billingsgate can be found at 1 Old Billingsgate Walk, 16 Lower Thames Street, London EC3R 6DX.
