Makeover for Manfrotto tripod

Tripod maker Manfrotto has today announced a redesigned version of one of its best-selling models, telling us that it is easier to use.

The Manfrotto 190XPROB has a centre column that photographers should be able to move into its horizontal position without having to ?disassemble it?, says the company which claims: ?By simply extending the column it can be released and swung into its horizontal position quickly and easily.?

Replacing the 190PRO and PROB models the 190XPROB costs £110.

There is also a £100 version called the 190XB which does not include the horizontal centre column feature.
