As Kentmere Photographic celebrates its centenary it reveals the winners of this year?s Kentmere Student & Open Photo Awards.
Organisers said they were after images of a ?contemporary style? to celebrate modern photography in the company?s centenary year.
Scooping top spot in the Degree section was a portrait by Derby University student Steve Schoefield. Second Place went to Jacqui Molden from Parc Menai in Wales who also won third in the same category.
Entrants had to submit prints produced on Kentmere paper.
The HND/HNC Section winner was Chris Purnell from Telford College, Edinburgh who also bagged third place. Emma Louise Forsyth from Harrogate College was second.
Meanwhile, Carolyn Mann from California was declared winner of the Open Section; with Boris Faric from Slovenia claiming second and third places.
The title in the inkjet category went to Anna Stanislowa Tisserat-Rasle, a student at the University of Northampton. Denis Leppard from Gravesend in Kent was runner-up and Sara Elizabeth Ford from Turvey in Bedfordshire won joint third place with Al Lapkovsky from London.
Each category winner picked up £250, while second and third places won £150 and £100 respectively.
Judges were Kentmere Photographic director Garry Hume and photographer Annabel Williams.
