Photographic commissions to Antarctica can be won in this year?s Wanderlust Travel Photo of the Year competition, which is backed by The Independent newspaper.
Amateurs are invited to submit entries in the following categories: People, Wildlife, Landscape or Streetlife. Each winner will be flown to Antarctica with a companion next year.
There is also a separate section for professional photographers who should submit a portfolio of five pictures to be in with a chance of winning a top prize of £5,000.
