Mike says he will talk participants through news photography and provide guidance on how to get a shot worthy of the front page of a national newspaper. Organisers
will simulate an event for shooting that ?winning picture?.
Mike will also provide an individual critique of the images on the AP stand (stand 32) in the exhibitors? hall after the shoot.
Images captured will be sent instantaneously to a dedicated ?Picture Desk? server on-site and made available for printing at the event by Solutions partners Hewlett Packard and Mitsubishi Electric.
Even if you don?t get a place on the seminar there is plenty more at the show, which is free to attend. It features product experts in a series of presentations and seminars from Nikon and its partners.
There is also the chance to get your hands on the Nikon’s new D200 digital SLR which is due to go on sale on 15 December. The 10.2 megapixel D200, expected to cost £1299.99 (body only) boasts a new 11-area AF system and D2X processing engine.
