Round 6: Inhabitants
In round 6, Inhabitants, we ask you to think about what it means to inhabit. You are an inhabitant of your home, but also of the town, country and world in which you live. How can you express these ideas visually? Would your image show you sitting in your lounge, or would your picture depict your lounge empty without you, lined with the objects and keepsakes that define you? It?s up to you to decide.
Now consider other types of inhabitants: goldfish; the neighbour?s ginger cat; commuters; co-workers; weeds in your vegetable garden; gulls. How might you express visually the life they lead and their relationship to their surroundings? In this round you have the unique opportunity to draw from the genres of landscape, wildlife, street and even documentary photography to create a winning image. Good luck!

First Prize
