Adobe has revamped its consumer photo editing software to launch Photoshop Elements 6, out now priced £69.99.

Photoshop Elements 6 includes what Adobe claims is an improved conversion tool, designed to ?dramatically convert colour images into elegant, nuanced black & whites?.

Billed as a ?major upgrade?, new features also include Photomerge technology, which is intended to help users capture the ?perfect group photo?. The software combines the ?best facial expressions and body language from a series of shots to create a single cohesive group shot’, adds Adobe.

In addition, there are three editing modes, designed to suit the user?s particular experience level.

Photoshop Elements 6 is available for Windows computer systems by visiting www.adobe.com.

Adobe has stated that the Macintosh compatible version will be out in ?early 2008?.
