Darren told us, ?The picture ‘Brief Encounter’ was taken of my friend Erica who wanted some vintage style images for her portfolio so we decided to go to the Refreshment Room cafe on Carnforth Station where they have kept the 40’s style of the film ‘Brief Encounter’ that was made there,?
About the winner
Darren works as an engineering manager and began photography by taking landscape images of the surrounding Lake District where he lives.
Over the last three years he has started taking more portraits and this is now his main photography passion, although he still takes landscapes and enjoys motor sport photography when he gets the opportunity.
