BenQ is the latest digital compact maker to release a camera with a claimed resolution of 10 million pixels. Out this month the 10.1MP C1000 will cost a penny under £190.
Replacing the C800 model, features include a 2.4in LCD screen and a 3x optical zoom. Exposure modes include shutter and aperture priority and manual.
The C1000 is compatible with SD memory cards and features a 30 frames per second movie function. It is also compatible with the PictBridge direct print standard.
