There are two categories (17 and under; and 18-25), the winners of which will walk away with a Canon EOS 760D DSLR kit, with four runners-up receiving a compact camera.
Robin Wells, youth development coordinator at the British Red Cross said: ‘The Red Cross is committed to helping people in crisis and this exciting and creative category is part of our Humanitarian Citizen Awards, which recognise the contributions young people, under-26, perform in their communities.’

The winners will be announced at the Houses of Parliament on 24 November.
