The manager of Bob Carlos Clarke?s estate, Ghislain Pascal, is consulting his lawyer after a newspaper published an article highlighting a reader’s ‘disgust’ at what he claims are ‘porn pix’ on Pascal’s website Panic Pictures. The article referred to the ‘sexually explicit’ nature of Carlos Clarke?s images.

The report, published in the Bedfordshire on Sunday newspaper on 11 October, came as Pascal prepares to be officially sworn in as a councillor in the town of Ampthill.

The article refers to the website, Panic Pictures, which Pascal runs in his capacity as a celebrity agent and manager of Carlos Clarke?s estate. The newspaper piece was headlined ?New boy’s ?porn pix? site?.

A local resident told the paper that he was ?absolutely disgusted’ when he saw the images, adding that it was ?not the sort of thing you expect a respectable councillor to be dealing in, especially in a quiet little town like Ampthill?.

Pascal told the Bedfordshire on Sunday: ?I am a law-abiding, successful businessman and a churchgoer?

?These photographs are erotic but not distasteful and if people don?t like them they don?t have to look at them.

?They cannot be bought or downloaded by members of the public. They are sold to the media and the price ranges from £1,000 to £30,000 so they are not cheap.

?I don?t see how this has anything to do with my work as part of the town council.?

Pascal tells us he is due to be sworn in as a councillor tomorrow.
