Fujifilm UK has declared its ?passion? for film and ?commitment? to the medium but has also confirmed plans to raise print film prices by 5-10% from next week.
Blaming ?escalating costs of raw materials such as silver and oil?, the firm has stated that it will increase the price of colour negative film worldwide.
?Obviously, rising costs of production and transport coupled with declining volume worldwide for film products means that it?s necessary to raise prices by a small amount,? said Fujifilm UK?s director of Photo Imaging, David Honey.
He added. ?We are very passionate about our film users and remain committed to providing the highest quality product and service.?
