JOBO has unwrapped a ‘mid-range’ portable storage device called the Spectator which comes in 40GB, 80GB and 120GB capacities.
Features include a 2.5in colour LCD screen designed to enable users to review JPEG images in thumbnail form.
Using the full screen mode photographers can zoom in and move around parts of the image.
The Spectator supports cards including CompactFlash and SD and allows output for viewing images on a TV.
The device measures 129x78x23.7mm, weighs 183g and is powered by a Li-Ion battery.
The 40GB version costs £199, the 80GB £229 and the 120GB version is priced at £279.
