Sony invites you to learn a little more about how to take incredible images through a series of workshops

As part of its partnership with the World Photography Awards, Sony is running a series of workshops at London’s Somerset House. Working with experienced names in the world of photography, the sessions have been developed to encourage everyone to get more out of their photography and take their skills to the next level.

The workshops will inspire people to develop their skills at all levels. Whether you’re a beginner who want to improve the quality of your pictures, a student who is looking to craft a career in photography or a passionate enthusiast who just want to know more about developing your skills – there is something to suit any level.

Speakers will include Michael Wayne Plant who will lead a session on photography for beginners. Specialising in portraits and social landscapes he will excite and inspire attendees with how to take everyday pictures with an edge.

Photographer Magdi Fernandes is leading a session about how to make a career out of photography. Magdi has worked across fashion, music and sports photography and a number of leading advertising campaigns.

In addition, there will be guest speakers from industry leading titles to provide insight into their specialist fields.
