Kodak has launched seven new digicams since the turn of the year. The two new five-megapixel additions to the Z-series are the 10x zoom EasyShare Z7590 and the EasyShare Z730.
The Z7590, priced £349, has manual and automatic exposure, a 38?380mm equivalent lens, three metering modes and is the first Easyshare Z series camera to offer external flash synchronisation.
The Z730, priced £199, has a 4x optical zoom (33-132mm equiv), 32MB internal memory, a 2.2in LCD and is powered by a rechargeable lithium ion cell.
Two other launches are theEasyShare C340, which has a 5MP resolution and costs £179, while the EasyShare C300 boasts 3MP and is priced at £79. The C340 sports a 3x optical zoom and features a new on-camera cropping function plus automatic picture orientation. The C300 is a fixed-focus model.
At the beginning of the year, Kodak launched the WiFicapable £379 EasyShare-One camera for storing images as well as taking them. Its 3-inch tilt and swivel LCD screen combines with a 4MP camera that can hold up to 1,500 images, has 256MB internal memory and goes with theoptional extra SD WiFi card.
The final two models, the £179 EasyShare Z700 and £279 EasyShare Z740, each boast 5MP, with the Z740 having a 10x optical zoom and Z700 a 5x optical zoom. The Z740 features a lot more user control…
