Italian tripod maker Manfrotto has extended its X-range of tripods with the addition of the 055CX carbon tripod series.

Due out next month, there are three new models: the CX3 (priced £249.95); CXPRO3 (£289.95) and the CXPRO4 (£299.95).

The ?PRO? versions come in three or four-section models and include a levelling bubble built into the magnesium top-plate.

The standard CX3 version is available in three sections.
