Lomo has replaced its original 35mm film camera with the Lomo LC-A+, a newly designed version with features including ?unlimited? multiple exposure.

Improvements over the original – production of which ceased last year – also include a cable release socket, tripod thread and ISO sensitivity ranging from ISO 100-1600.

?All of the magical Lomo effects – including over-intense colour saturation, sharp contrast, vignetting at the edges, occasionally selective focus ? are in place and at your disposal,? claims Lomo whose spokesman adds: ?Whether you are a grizzled photographic veteran or a fresh-faced young babe, the Lomo is dead easy and simply pleasurable to use.?

On-board features include a Russian-made 32mm f/2.8 lens Minitar lens.

?Like the original, this Minitar 1 is made to Professor Radionov?s exacting specifications and is hand-crafted at the original Lomo Optical factory in St Petersburg,? adds the company.

There are three kits. The Standard Package includes a Lomo book, cable release and two films. The Deluxe Package includes a Tunnel vision lens, Colorsplash flash and Hipshot bag; while the Supreme kit features a fisheye adapter, case and mini-tripod. Prices were yet to be confirmed at the time of writing. For details visit www.lomography.com/shop

? Lomo cameras have been deployed by members of the public to create a ?Lomo Wall? exhibition on London?s South Bank, made up of 4,000 photographs. The pictures – captured by local residents using Lomo Coloursplash cameras – have created an interactive 14×2.5m installation called The Trading Places Lomo Wall on hoardings outside the Royal Festival Hall, as part of a poetry festival. The 24-hour show is on until early December.
