Press Association Images photographer Stefan Rousseau was crowned Photographer of the Year at the British Press Awards last night.

Rousseau also won the title in 2009.

Stefan’s winning portfolio included Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s visit to Auschwitz and an image of the Queen as she waited for her train to leave King’s Cross Station in London (see below).

Meanwhile, Andy Hooper from the Daily Mail won the Sports Photographer of the Year title.

The British Press Awards were announced at the Grosvenor House hotel in central London.
