From June 10 to July 13, winning images from Peace Camp 2012 are set to be exhibited alongside other commended
entries and photography specifically commissioned for the Peace Camp event.

Peace Camp, a celebration of coastal beauty and the language of love, took place over four summer nights at eight special encampments around the country

The competition
ran in AP last year and was sponsored by Olympus, who provided each of the
winning photographers with an Olympus SZ31MR compact camera.

AP readers were
tasked with taking dawn or dusk shots of one of the Peace Camp sites, capturing
the spectacular orange glow of the specially lit tents as seen in one of the winning images of a camp at Cuckmere Haven by John Franklin, above.

The event was
produced by arts-funding company Artichoke and directed by Deborah Warner in
collaboration with Fiona Shaw. It took place in summer 2012 and featured music,
poetry and installations as well as photography.

The exhibition
will run at the Poetry Café in Covent Garden from June 10 to July 13. For more
