A holiday in Austria is up for grabs in a photo competition for enthusiasts and professionals, organised by the publisher of a magazine called Small World.
Organisers are looking for ?quirky, quality? photographs of children ?on their travels or undertaking outdoor activities?.
A spokesman for the magazine ? which is aimed at family travel and outdoor leisure – added: ?We can only accept slides and digital photos – and we don?t want pictures solely of Romanian, Nepalese or African children, just your own or your friends?, out and about in the UK or overseas.?
The winner gets a one-week £2,000 holiday for a family of four to the Austrian Alps next year.
The contest will be judged by a panel headed by Russell Cheyne who is chief sports photographer at The Daily Telegraph.
A maximum of four shots can be entered per household.
Winners and runner-up will be announced in forthcoming issues of Small World, with final judging taking place in May when the contest closes.
The magazine?s publisher, Young Explorers (Publishing) Ltd, says it reserves the right to reproduce entries in the magazine ?for the purposes of the competition and on its? website?.
