A photography gallery largely dedicated to the work of legendary photographer Bob Carlos Clarke will open in London next month.
The Little Black Gallery was set up by Bob?s wife Lindsey, his friend Tamara Beckwith and Ghislain Pascal, the photographer?s agent and manager of his estate.
Located in Chelsea, the gallery will serve as the base for the Bob Carlos Clarke Foundation, which was set up to help young photographers after Bob?s untimely death.
Bob Carlos Clarke took his own life in March 2006, aged 55.
The basement area will be home to a rotating exhibition of the photographer?s work.
The gallery will also feature other photographers. The first exhibition, entitled Most Wanted, will include images by photographers such as Terry O?Neill, John Swannell and Nadav Kander. It opens on 25 November.
Two year?s ago the chef Marco Pierre White opened a permanent exhibition dedicated to his friend at his Luciano restaurant in Mayfair, central London.
