A freelance photographer is rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic to the West Indies in a bid to help raise £1m for charity.
Phil Harris, – who works for the Daily Mirror – set off from the Canaries at the end of November with crew mate Charlie Woodward-Fisher on a journey to Antigua expected to take under two months.
They are hoping to raise money for baby charity Tommy?s and the Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign.
Just days after setting off Phil, 41, received some good news from home. ?Mr Harris is a Dad again,? said Daily Mirror spokesman Chris Wade. ?His wife Nicky has just given birth to twin boys ? Joshua and Samuel.?
