Young photographers hoping to ‘find love through the lens’ are being given the chance to take part in a photography speed dating event to be held in a converted ‘Turkish bathhouse’.

Organisers say the ‘Shoot Dating’ experience on 5 December will be a variation of speed dating where the ‘power of creativity’ can match people ‘without the pressure of making polite conversation’.

Shoot Dating will take place at a converted Turkish bathhouse in the City of London.

‘Daters will be matched up in different teams (two boys and two girls), given clue sheets and sent out onto the streets, tasked with constructing photos as answers to the clues,’ say event organisers, Shoot Experience.

‘With each clue comes a new team, giving daters a chance to meet up to eight potential partners throughout the course of the afternoon.’

Once participants have completed the clues, they will be able to watch a slideshow of the day’s images.

Prizes will go to the ‘most creative photos’, say judges.

Organisers add: ”No experience in photography is necessary… At the end of the evening, participants who have ticked each other?s boxes on our Shoot Dating card will be put in touch with each other via email, leaving individuals to complete their own romantic adventures.’

The event takes place at The Bathhouse, 8 Bishopsgate Churchyard, London EC2M 3TJ. It runs from 2.30pm-7pm and costs £20 per person.

Participants must be aged 23-35 to take part.
