Capture and Create has been set up by photographer Doug Harman, a former Amateur Photographer technical editor, and Sue Chapman ARPS who specialises in commercial, product and fine-art photography and is an expert in Lightroom and Photoshop.
Run in partnership with Kent-based Warnborough College, Capture and Create is set to provide photographic courses of up two weeks, as well as specific, subject-based, two-day workshops.
Organisers promise a unique workshop experience, combining luxurious living with fine dining and expert tuition.
The first photographic retreat is aimed at beginners and due to take place at Chilston Park Hotel in Lenham, Kent from 17-29 April, priced £4,750.
The itinerary includes shooting spring landscapes and trips to Canterbury Cathedral, Leeds Castle and Dungeness.
Workshops scheduled for later in the year include a ‘seashore and seascapes’ course at Romney Bay House Hotel between 11-17 September (priced £2,550).
Details of shorter workshops were yet to be announced at the time of writing.
