A polar bear ran off with a photographer’s tripod while he was taking portraits of the animals in Alaska, the Daily Telegraph has reported today.

Peter Haworth from Bristol told the newspaper that he was on a photographic trip when the bear – one of a group of three – escaped with a fellow photographer’s tripod, leaving the ball head ‘badly damaged’.
