Profits from the competition, now in its eighth year, will be donated to The Lavender Trust at Breast Cancer Care, UK.

The deadline for submissions is 12 June 2015 and the best images will go on show at the Getty Images Gallery in London later this year.

The winner of the Single Image and Series categories will each win £1,000.
Entry fees apply. It costs £18 for a single image, £27 for up to three and £45 for up to six

Judges include Diane Smyth, deputy editor at the British Journal of Photography; and Madeleine Penny, freelance picture editor at The Sunday Times Magazine.

Last year’s contest raised £40,000.
