Lawyers acting for Hollywood stars Brad Pritt and Anglina Jolie have reportedly threatened the media with legal action if they publish images contained on a memory card stolen recently from the couple.

The digital storage card was reportedly stolen from a digital camera used by the actors while they were enjoying a family party in Namibia.

They are understood to include private images of them and their children celebrating a private ?baby shower? ? a party where expectant parents receive gifts for their newborn child.

Several of the pictures are believed to have already been offered for sale.

In a letter to media outlets their lawyer warns: ?The stolen photos are copyright protected, to which my clients own right and title thereto. Any unauthorised publication, reproduction or dissemination of the stolen photos constitutes an infringement of my clients? copyrights??

The lawyer, representing legal firm Lavely & Singer, adds that the couple had a reasonable expectation of privacy. ?The publication of the photos would therefore constitute a unlawful invasion and violation of my clients? right of privacy?,? according to a report published by celebrity website TMZ.com
