The winner of a photography competition organised by the British Airways London Eye has been named by a judging panel headed by artist Tracey Emin.
A ?dramatic sunset? by Brendon Doran from Brentwood in Essex claimed top spot in the contest, which was launched to mark the London Eye?s 25 millionth visitor.
Brendon won a Fujifilm FinePix S6500fd digital camera for his shot (pictured) which is set to go on permanent show in the London Eye ticket hall.
Images were judged on criteria including ?original views? of the structure, use of colour and composition.
Tracey Emin said: ?It?s great to see London so beautiful ? and all inspired by the London Eye.? She added: ?There should be a mini-eye in every town and city, just so we would have a good idea of where we are.?
The winner of the Fujifilm Young Photographer Award was named as Michael Ciancia whose entry shows the wheel on the London Eye reflected in his girlfriend?s eye. He won a FinePix S5700 digital model.
