Recycled printer cartridges and mobile phones have helped raise more than £5,000 for the Tsunami Earthquake Appeal.

The public were asked to send in their empty printer cartridges and old mobiles to recycling company Redeem, which then pledged money to the Disasters Emergency Committee?s Tsunami Earthquake Appeal.
