Photographers are urged to take part in what is billed as the world’s largest photography project.
Organisers say they want people from all over the globe to take a photo on 24 October 2009, 63 years to the day since scientists first captured a photo of earth from space.
Online registration requires participants to first supply their email address and some AP website readers have expressed concerns that the project is merely a database building exercise.
After being contacted by AP yesterday, organisers have now updated the project website to add the terms and conditions for taking part.
Pictures from the project, which is called ‘One Click One Pic’, will be published in a book and on a DVD, claim organisers.
