APOY 2012 Competition Round 10 – Life in Monochrome

\nThe results are in for the tenth and final round of APOY.<\/p>\n

\n<\/img>Agnieszka Gasiorek<\/strong>, of
\nKrakow in Poland, is the winner of our Life in Monochrome round of APOY 2012.
\nGasiorek will receive a Samsung NX210 with 20-50mm f\/3.5-5.6, Samsung 30mm f\/2
\nand Samsung 16mm f\/2.4 lenses, plus a 16GB SDHC Plus memory card, worth a total
\nof \u00a31,346.99. The NX210 is an advanced compact system camera with a
\n20.3-million-pixel, APS-C CMOS sensor. It has 8fps continuous shooting, built-in
\nWi-Fi for email, social networking and transfer, and an ISO range of 100-12,800
\nthat lets you take high-speed photos even in low light. Samsung’s slender,
\nall-purpose i-Function 16mm lens offers great versatility, with quick and easy
\none-touch access to all your camera’s manual settings. <\/p>\n

\n<\/img>Our second-placed winner is Daniel Portnoy<\/strong>, of Embrach in Switzerland, who will receive a Samsung EX2F high-end
\ncompact camera and a 16GB SDHC Plus memory card worth a total of \u00a3449.99. The
\nEX2F has a 12.4-million-pixel, BSI (Back Side Illuminated) CMOS sensor, 3.3x
\nf\/1.4 (24-72mm equivalent) zoom lens and full HD 1080 video. It has built-in
\nWi-Fi for email, social networking and transfer, an ISO range of 80-3200 (up to
\n12,800 in extended mode) and a 3in AMOLED articulated screen.<\/p>\n
