The flagship Lumia 920 features an 8.7-million-pixel PureView camera, f\/2 Carl Zeiss lens, and a 4.5in LCD screen.<\/p>\n

In a statement, the firm claimed: \u2018Using advanced floating lens technology, the camera in the Nokia Lumia 920 is able to take in five times more light than competing smartphones, without using flash \u2013 making it possible to capture clear, bright pictures and video indoors and at night.<\/p>\n

\u2018It also compensates for hand movement while the photo is being taken.’<\/p>\n

Nokia spoke about its plans to focus on low-light photography<\/a> in an interview with Amateur Photographer<\/em> earlier this year. <\/p>\n

Speaking in March, Nokia’s lead program manager for capture devices, Damian Dinning, said tackling low light and camera shake would be key as smartphones increasingly compete against traditional digital compact cameras. <\/p>\n

Also unveiled today was the Nokia Lumia 820 which features an 8-million-pixel imaging sensor and 4.3in display.<\/p>\n
