The website of US dealer Crutchfield <\/a>states that the X100, which was launched last year, has been discontinued and is no longer available to purchase.<\/p>\n

This has fuelled speculation<\/a> that a replacement model is being primed for the Photokina trade show which takes place in Cologne, Germany, in September.<\/p>\n

However, when approached by Amateur Photographer<\/em>, a spokesman for Fujifilm UK said: \u2018The camera is still in production and is not discontinued as far as the UK is concerned.’<\/p>\n

The 12.3-million-pixel model, which features an APS-C-size CMOS imaging sensor and a 23mm f\/2 lens, was first unveiled<\/a> at Photokina in 2010.<\/p>\n

It includes a hybrid viewfinder that combines an electronic viewfinder with the ‘bright frame’-type optical viewfinder found in rangefinder film cameras.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
