\n Olympus scandal whistleblower Michael Woodford has published a book, giving his account of the \u00a31.1 billion accounting cover-up, ahead of a crucial shareholders’ meeting in Tokyo tomorrow.<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

\n NEWS UPDATE: OLYMPUS SCANDAL BOOK DUE OUT NOVEMBER 2012 <\/a>\n <\/p>\n

The book, written in Japanese, is called Terminated<\/em>.<\/p>\n

An Olympus Tokyo spokesperson declined to comment on the book when approached by Amateur Photographer<\/em> earlier this week, citing ongoing legal action with Woodford as the reason.<\/p>\n

An English version of the book is expected to follow later this year, entitled Exposed<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In February, Woodford spoke to Amateur Photographer<\/a> (AP) about what he planned to include in the books.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow, Woodford will attend an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting in Tokyo, where he is expected to object to the nominations of the new Olympus chairman and president.<\/p>\n

Last October, Woodford sought police protection amid fears that the scandal was linked to the Japanese criminal underworld.<\/p>\n

A few weeks later, Woodford told AP how he felt he was living through a real-life ‘John Grisham novel’<\/a>.<\/p>\n
