This week\u2019s Smartphone Picture of the Week is by Simon Anger, taken using a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\"smartphone<\/a>\n

“I’m a keen amateur photographer based in West Lothian, Scotland. I’m originally from Jersey (CI) and was back home visiting family. We were walking home in the pitch black with no street lights through little lanes and the whole journey we could see this red glow and when we finally made it through the lanes we found it was from the communications tower.<\/p>\n

At the time I only had my phone with me so I spent some time composing the shot and tweaking the exposure to get the photo you see. I would love to go back and try with some of my more “professional” equipment but feel it wouldn’t match the exciting aura of the original as it was a perfectly clear night.”<\/p>\n
