Bill Wisden, who has a lifelong passion for photography, received the
\nMBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for services to Art.

\nBill (pictured) has been heavily involved with the Royal Photographic
\nSociety since the early 1960s. He won an RPS Fellowship in 1963 and a
\nFenton Medal for services to the Society in 2001.

\n‘His common sense approach, his knowledge, management and leadership
\nskills have been invaluable in his roles as a trustee on Distinctions
\nand other committees, in helping to shape Society policies, both as a
\ncommittee member and chairman.

\nBill, 80, said: ‘When I did my fellowship in 1963 my panel was a strange
\n mixture of traditional pictiorialism, violent tone separation and multi
\n solarisation. There was no [Distinctions] advice available in those
