Nikon has announced that five of its optical products have received prestigious ‘Red Dot Award: Product Design 2022’ recognition, with its full-frame Nikon Z 9<\/a> flagship mirrorless camera being crowned as one of the \u2018Best of the Best\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Products from 60 countries were submitted to the world-class design competition, which were then judged by a panel of esteemed design specialists from around the world.<\/p>\n

The degree of innovation, functionality, ergonomics and durability were all taken into consideration throughout the deliberation process, before the winners were announced.<\/p>\n

Other Nikon photographic recipients of Red Dot Product Design recognition include the retro-styled Nikon Z fc, the NIKKOR Z MC 105mm f\/2.8 VR S mid-telephoto micro lens and the NIKKOR NIKKOR Z 400mm f\/2.8 TC VR S telephoto prime lens.<\/p>\n

The fifth Nikon product to receive Product Design recognition was the Nikon Eclipse Si upright microscope.<\/p>\n

Nikon wins more design awards – UPDATE, 18 May 2022<\/h3>\n

Nikon has announced that four of its products have been successful at this year\u2019s iF DESIGN AWARD in the product category.<\/p>\n

The winners include the Z 9 and Z fc mirrorless cameras, the NIKKOR Z MC 105mm f\/2.8 VR S lens and the Upright Microscope ECLIPSE Si.<\/p>\n

Dirk Jasper, manager product marketing at Nikon Europe BV said, ‘It\u2019s fantastic to see four Nikon products win an iF DESIGN AWARD. We appreciate both the industry recognition and the warm reception our products have received from our customers.’<\/em><\/p>\n

The iF DESIGN AWARD is a globally prestigious design award sponsored by iF International Forum Design GmbH since 1953.<\/p>\n

The awards consist of several disciplines such as product, communication and packaging.<\/p>\n

This year, over 11,000 entries from 57 countries were evaluated and judged by renowned industry experts.<\/p>\n
