Amateur Photographer (AP) has joined forces with Sony to give one lucky reader, plus a guest, the chance to join organisers on the red carpet at the Sony World Photography Awards 2011.<\/strong><\/p>\n

AP and Sony are official media partners for the World Photography Festival which takes place from 26 April ?1 May.<\/p>\n

The winner will attend the Sony World Photography Awards gala evening in Leicester Square, London on Wednesday 27 April.<\/p>\n

The black-tie event will see rising stars, talented students and established photographers recognised before an audience comprising some of the biggest names in the international photography industry. <\/p>\n

Winning images from the Sony World Photography Awards 2011 competition will be displayed at Somerset House, Strand, London.<\/p>\n

And the World Photography Festival will include seminars and portfolio reviews hosted by AP Editor Damien Demolder, as part of a spectacular line-up of speakers appearing over the five-day Festival. <\/p>\n

Entrants must be free on the evening of 27 April to be in with a chance of bagging free tickets to the Awards.<\/p>\n

The competition closes on 20 April 2011. <\/p>\n

A phone number or email address must be included with each entry ? and organisers must be able to contact the winner on 21 April, to arrange entry to the event. <\/p>\n
