There are many types of competitions sites online, but many are not honest. We gain trust with our customers as we are the biggest\u00a0dedicated camera competitions page and we gain a lot of trust from having the link with D H James and knowing all the stock is supplied from there,\u00a0ie they\u2019re not grey imports and are fully guaranteed. We also do the live draws in front\u00a0of the camera so they can see us and know that we are real\u00a0people from both companies.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Goodwin added, <em>\u2018As a camera retailer we constantly need to adapt to the changing world and are looking at ideas to stay current. We were approached by some people we know very well who run another competition site. They had set up a site for cameras, however were too busy with their site to continue running it. They asked us if we wanted to take over the site.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n\t\t<div id=&quot;attachment_171016&quot;  class=\"c-caption aligncenter\" style=\"max-width: 1020px\">\n\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"171016\" src=\"https:\/\/other.kelsey.host\/amateurphotographer\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Chris-Goodwin-left-and-Sherralyn-Neil-of-DH-James-and-Camera-Competitions.jpg\" alt=\"Chris Goodwin (left) and Sherralyn Neil (right) of DH James and Camera Competitions\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1359\" \/>\t\t\t<p class=\"c-caption__text\">Chris Goodwin (left) and Sherralyn Neil (right) of DH James and Camera Competitions<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n<h3>Live draws<\/h3>\n<p>Camera Competitions runs draws every Wednesday live on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>The prizes vary from high-end cameras, such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/other.kelsey.host\/amateurphotographer\/reviews\/compactsystemcameras\/canon-eos-r5-review\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canon EOS R5<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/other.kelsey.host\/amateurphotographer\/reviews\/compactsystemcameras\/nikon-z6-ii-review\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nikon Z6 II<\/a>, down to photography gear such as tripods.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets prices to enter the draws vary from 99p up to around \u00a37.99 and you can buy multiple tickets in each draw if you wish.<\/p>\n<p>According to Chris Goodwin the response to Camera Competitions has been, <em>\u2018Very positive. We are building a community on Facebook where people can share their ideas and work.
