A higher percentage of consumers will buy digital photo frames in the UK than in France, Germany or Russia, according to research released today.<\/p>\n

?By 2011 we expect household penetration to reach 14% across Western Europe as a whole, with the UK and France leading the charge at 29% and 23% respectively,? states Futuresource Consulting which conducted the survey.<\/p>\n

The results were drawn from answers given by more than 600 consumers.<\/p>\n

The sitting room was voted the favourite place in the home to display a digital photo frame, in all countries except Russia where the bedroom was apparently the favoured location.<\/p>\n

Futuresource Consulting added: ?In 2007 the Western European digital photo frame market exploded, reaching 3.8 million units. That?s up from just 0.6m the year before with Western Europe representing approximately 30% of global volumes.?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
