A pair of tickets and access to the press photographers’ pit is up for grabs at Fairport Convention?s festival in Cropredy, Oxfordshire which takes place from 7-9 August.<\/p>\n

The winner of the competition, organised in conjunction with Amateur Photographer<\/em> (AP) magazine, will accompany AP?s technical editor Angela Nicholson in the photographers’ pit. <\/p>\n

Supergrass and the Levellers are among the bands expected to perform at the annual event, alongside veteran folk band Fairport Convention.<\/p>\n

A camping ticket is provided as part of the prize but the winner needs to bring their own tent and pitch it themselves, according to organisers.<\/p>\n

The three-day ticket is worth \u00a372.<\/p>\n

To enter the competition, post your best music\/gig prints (maximum size A4) or transparencies, along with 50 words on why you think you should have access to the press pit, to: Fairport competition, Amateur Photographer magazine, IPC Media, Blue Fin Building, 110 Southwark Street, London SE1 0SU. <\/p>\n

The closing date for receipt of entries is 31 May 2008.<\/p>\n
