Sigma has today confirmed the price of its DP1 digital camera and accessory line-up.<\/p>\n

Billed as a ?high-end? compact, the DP1 features the same 14-million-pixel Foveon X3 imaging sensor as featured in Sigma’s SD14 DSLR. <\/p>\n

It is due in UK shops next month, costing \u00a3549.99.<\/p>\n

The DP1 will also be available as a kit with an optical viewfinder, priced \u00a3599.99. <\/p>\n

The viewfinder (VF-11) will also be available separately costing \u00a384.99.<\/p>\n

Optional accessories will include a hood adapter (HA-11), priced \u00a319.99; electronic flash (EF-140 DG), costing \u00a344.99; AC adapter (SAC-3) and battery charger (BC-31), each priced at \u00a339.99; and a Li-ion battery (BP-31) carrying \u00a329.99 pricetag.<\/p>\n

The camera was showcased<\/a> at the PMA show in Las Vegas, USA a fortnight ago.<\/p>\n
