Police have launched an investigation after thieves escaped with ?high value? photographic gear from Calumet Photographic’s base in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.<\/p>\n

Police confirmed to Amateur Photographer<\/em> that the overnight robbery took place at Calumet?s warehouse on Bradbourne Drive between 10.30pm on Friday 1 February and 8.45am on Saturday 2 February.<\/p>\n

Bradbourne Drive is in the Tilbrook area of Milton Keynes.<\/p>\n

A spokeswoman for Thames Valley Police described it as a ?high value? robbery, adding that, at this stage, there are no leads in the case.<\/p>\n

Calumet declined to comment on the incident. <\/p>\n

Last year thieves twice broke into Sigma’s UK base<\/a> in Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire. Unconfirmed reports suggested that the stolen Sigma lenses ended up overseas.<\/p>\n
