Black & white photography enthusiasts can now share their experiences and images with fellow photographers worldwide using a MySpace presence launched by Ilford Photo.<\/p>\n

?The launch of our MySpace page is a watershed moment for Ilford Photo,? said an Ilford Photo UK spokesman. <\/p>\n

?We will be able to engage directly with hundreds, possibly thousands of photographers worldwide, united in their love and passion for black & white photography.?<\/p>\n

He added: ?We are committed to creating a bright future for traditional black & white photography, and the MySpace page shows that the digital age has not eclipsed traditional photography ? it is genuinely facilitating it, helping to establish a bright future for black & white.?<\/p>\n

The MySpace page is designed to run in tandem with Ilford Photo?s existing website.<\/p>\n

Features include an online slideshow of images, a forum where visitors can post comments, as well as information about new products, events, exhibitions and details of UK masterclasses.<\/p>\n

Formed in 1879 ? and based in Cheshire – Ilford became famous for its film, paper and darkroom chemicals.<\/p>\n
