Olympus will launch three new digital SLRs in the spring in a move designed to help ?double? its DSLR sales, according to Japanese press reports.<\/p>\n

Olympus president Tsuyoshi Kikukawa told the financial newspaper Nikkei<\/i>: ?We are deploying three new models in the spring, expecting to sell 500,000 units next term, making inroads into the DSLR segment that the big two, Nikon and Canon, dominate.?<\/p>\n

The interview was translated into English and published in the latest issue of PEN News Weekly<\/i>.<\/p>\n
