Renowned London-based photo lab Metro Imaging is to end its round-the-clock film processing service at Clerkenwell from 1 April, blaming a huge fall in demand.<\/p>\n

Instead, the lab ? the only one of three Metro branches to currently offer the 24\/7 service – will open from 7am until 11pm.<\/p>\n

A source ? who declined to be named ? blamed the move on the decline in demand brought on by the digital revolution over the past five years.<\/p>\n

It is understood that photographers requiring film to be processed outside these times may be able to do so provided they give the lab prior notice.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1980 as a black and white photo lab Metro also has branches in Soho and Chelsea. <\/p>\n

Metro Imaging?s clients mainly consists of photographers working in advertising, editorial and fashion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
