\u00a9 Magnum Collection \/ Magnum Photos<\/em><\/p>\n

The series \u2013 to be called Magnum<\/em> \u2013 is set to focus on the agency\u2019s founders: Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, George Rodger and David \u2018Chim\u2019 Seymour.<\/p>\n

\u2018Magnum is an extraordinary and unique organisation, with a powerful history and an amazing story to tell,\u2019 said Gareth Neame, managing director of producer, Carnival Films.<\/p>\n

\u2018We can get right inside the key events of the second half of the 20th century through the lives and lenses of these photographers in a bold and completely original way.\u2019<\/p>\n

Magnum Photos\u2019 executive director David Kogan said: \u2018At Magnum we have spent 67 years telling stories of the world through our photographers and their work.<\/p>\n

\u2018We are delighted to be working with Carnival to tell the story of our founding photographers and how it all began.\u2019<\/p>\n

The actors playing the roles have yet to be chosen.<\/p>\n

A spokesman for Magnum\u2019s UK office told Amateur Photographer<\/em> that the project is still in the \u2018very early stages\u2019.<\/p>\n

He said it is due to air in 2017 but the agency does not yet have confirmation on which TV channels it will be screened.<\/p>\n

A statement posted on the Magnum Photos website earlier this week adds: \u2018With cameras in hand and private lives often in turmoil, Magnum\u2019s photographers sacrificed everything to capture history through the lens.<\/p>\n

\u2018Magnum<\/em> will tell of the human stories of love, honour, laughter, betrayal and heartbreak that existed at the agency\u2019s Paris HQ, while capturing the action and danger the photographers experienced travelling the world\u2019s hotspots in the second half of the 20th century.\u2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
